Our Mission

CBE introduces students, seniors, and others to the game of bridge to promote inductive and deductive mental skills, memory enhancement, cooperative and competitive partnership, and social skills. The primary objectives of the corporation shall be:

(a) to provide and promote the learning and playing of bridge primarily among intermediate school, high school, and college students through the development of bridge classes, clubs, and related activities.

(b) to promote the learning and playing of bridge among adults in San Francisco through bridge classes and related activities at local clubs and at organizationally sponsored sites.

(c) to take steps to provide clubhouse facilities that supplement existing learning facilities in order to implement bridge learning and practices within San Francisco.

(d) to assist and encourage youth bridge activities throughout the San Francisco Bay Area
